Panama Hat with Pearlized Pin

This charming straw hat with oversized pearlized wooden stick pin has a dupioni cafe au lait pleated hat band and a whole lotta style!
Labeled "Genuine Panama" on the interior grosgrain band, this hat comes complete with original Leggett Department store tags.

Although it could be considered "new old stock" because it has tags this hat also has a couple of flaws. There is a small crack in the brim (about 7 straws worth) and a complete of faint spots (that would probably come out with cleaning). The edges of the wooden hat pin have been chipped over the years.

If I was keeping this for my self I would run a tiny thread of superglue under the crack and use diaper wipes to work on the spots. We prefer to off a hat such as this in "as found" condition in case someone else has better ideas, though.
