This charming oval lidded tin would be perfect to stash your treasures in.
Use it for a sewing basket or perhaps to hide your love letters or remote controls?

This tin is not marked but it reminds me of an old English biscuit tin.
A lot of these came in various designs so that people would collect them and re-use them in their homes.
This one is in decent vintage shape.
The structural integrity of the box is firm and the lid snaps on tightly.
There are some dings, scrapes and dents indicative of a life well lived!
The floral center motif has a crackle effect while the sides are a three tone stripe.
One of the handles is a wee bit bent but they still move and function well.
