This burlap pillow made from a vintage bag bears an illustration of Santoshi Maa, the hindu goddess of satisfaction. This could have been a simple depiction of the goddess herself, however the sanskrit on the top of the pillow fully translates to Jai Santoshi Maa, or "victory to Santoshi Maa." Jai Santoshi Maa is the title of a low budget bollywood film made in 1975 which ended up being one of the most popular Bollywood films ever made.
Was the bag a souvenir from the movie? A goddess tribute? Just don't know...
